Ok, ask and you shall receive. The recipe for the best donair sauce I have ever had. This goes way beyond any of the smooth, runny, so-called donair sauces you can buy in your grocery store. Look at the picture, look at me, now back at the picture...that's not runny! Have you ever had runny donair sauce at 3:00am at the Pizza Corner after a long night of debauchery? This recipe has been approved by my friend Fouad...and with a name like Fouad he'd know donair sauce! |

1 can regular evaporated milk (the recipe says not the low fat kind but I haven't tried to make it healthy)
1 cup white sugar
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup white vinegar
Add the first 3 ingredients and stir. Use a wooden spoon not a mixer. There is no need to beat this into submission. Add the vinegar really, really slowly and while stirring. As soon as it starts to curdle...STOP!!
